We weren’t the only ones to be won over by his big personality, as Teddy’s owner Hannah has been inundated with messages of support. “He touched so many people’s lives’, said Hannah. Our thoughts are with his family, who have expressly asked us to commemorate Teddy’s short but joyful life here.

Set up by Linzi Tropea and Michelle Southworth in October last year, The Animal Auction Rescue Group raises funds to help rescue dogs.
The group has a strict criteria that each rescue has to meet to make sure money goes to responsible rescues and is used for what it was intended. Every dog rescued must be vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered before going to a new home. All homes must be checked and the rescue must offer 100% back up should the animal need returned for whatever reason.
The Animal Auction Rescue Group now has an additional three admins in Fiona Reid, Patsy Serjeant and Diane Holcroft and has raised over £9000 to date. LoveMyDog is proud to support the group and recently donated a Thornproof dog blanket and some Poo Poo bags for an auction. If you would like to place a bid on any items you can join The Animal Auction Group via Facebook here.

So thank you for your letter Lorretta. We look forward to seeing some photos of your new terriers after your move to Brighton.

Has one mislaid one’s dogs?
These lifesize corgis have been spotted in Selfridges recently, complete with headscarves and pearls. We’re not sure if they’re there to celebrate the upcoming Queen’s Jubilee or if they just happen share Rabbit’s love of designer shopping. Either way they look fab. Perhaps we should roll out a limited edition Royal Collection this year?

As a working studio there’s always lots going on at LoveMyDog but recently it would seem we have a new designer on our hands/paws. Rabbit, the studio muse, finds the fabrics we use so comfortable that he keeps making a bed out of the offcuts from the cutting table! His designs are slowly improving but if your pooch is after a bed (we use springy thermo-regulating filling for outstanding comfort) we would suggest that you try one of these luxury dog beds for now.

Tracy Brown’s appliqué pop art combines her interest in graphic design and working with fabric. She combines carefully chosen fabrics to capture the essence of her subjects in a way that is both fun and true to life and has previously exhibited at the local Brick Lane Gallery.
We certainly love this fun picture. Tracy Brown does take commissions, so perhaps we should send her a picture of Rabbit and some LoveMyDog Harris Tweed fabric?

The LoveMyDog studio opened its doors for another ‘Open Studio’ on Saturday. Thanks to all those who came along and said hello. Rabbit made lots of new friends and we hope that all the wagging tails meant that lots of dogs were happy with their new sweaters, coats, collars and leads.
