Lauren & Dougal

Monday, February 13th, 2012

Lauren is from the luxury online designer fashion store my-wardrobe.com so obviously knows a hot look when she sees one. There is no chance that she and her fab French Bulldog Dougal will feel the cold at the moment thanks to the LoveMyDog Wilmot collection (the first to feature complementary items for human and pooch). Don’t they look gorgeous rocking their matching red cable knit scarf and sweater?

If you’re looking for a warm sweater for a pretty pooch then LoveMyDog have plenty to choose from here. But if you need a jumper for someone with just two legs, you will certainly have more luck heading to my-wardrobe.com.

Yip

Tracy Brown’s appliqué pop art combines her interest in graphic design and working with fabric. She combines carefully chosen fabrics to capture the essence of her subjects in a way that is both fun and true to life and has previously exhibited at the local Brick Lane Gallery.

We certainly love this fun picture. Tracy Brown does take commissions, so perhaps we should send her a picture of Rabbit and some LoveMyDog Harris Tweed fabric?

Radio on the TV

Thursday, February 9th, 2012

Gabby Logan had the fabulous Jo Good and Anna Webb on her Channel 5 programme yesterday. The stars of BBC Radio’s ‘Barking at the Moon’ where talking to Joanne Hull about her physic ability to speak to animals. Despite the recent cold weather, former gymnast Gabby has been keeping warm with a red Wilmot scarf.

“I am wearing my scarf today. Thank you so so much. I love it”

Don’t worry if you missed the show as you can catch up on more canine chatter tonight when Barking at the Moon returns to the radio. They will be discussing the Campaign for Real Wool which is something very close to our hearts.

Donna Ida’s dashing dogs

Donna Ida

We have fallen in love with Donna Ida’s dogs, Romeo and Julio. Self-confessed denim devotee Donna Ida recently purchased Hoxton Tartan collars and leads for the two cute Chihuahuas, although we are already wondering what a denim LoveMyDog collection would look like…

Anne Hathaway and her chocolate lab Esmeralda

Monday, February 6th, 2012

Anne Hathaway, star of The Devil Wears Prada, was spotted walking her beautiful chocolate Labrador Esmeralda in Brooklyn on Sunday. By the looks of Anne’s red nose, the weather is just as cold across the pond as it in London at the moment.

We can’t promise you’ll look as glamorous as this successful actress but your pooch can get a matching collar and lead similar to that worn by Esmeralda in either red velvet or red leather.

Sherlock: How did he survive?

Sunday, January 29th, 2012

Although the excellent second series of BBC’s Sherlock finished a couple of weeks ago, people are still debating on just how Sherlock managed to survive that long fall in the season finale. Rabbit thinks it was actually Moriarty who fell to his death but felt that the mystery cyclist appearing from nowhere was very distracting. As all dogs know, cyclists can be fun to chase and this certainly got Rabbit’s attention.

If your dog’s a Sherlock fan then now might be just the time to purchase a doggy deerstalker. Both the LoveMyDog Thornproof Tweed dog hat and the Hartwist Tweed dog hat are in our current sale. Snap one up whilst stocks last and have the smartest looking hound this side of Baker Street.

Peter Andre comes to the rescue

Sunday, January 29th, 2012

Mysterious Girl singer  and TV star Peter Andre posted a photo of his new pet pug on Twitter last night: ‘Welcome Charlie Pug :))) we love him . He is a dude’.

Charlie Pug was a rescue dog from Battersea, ’The other owners were apparently very good but had to move overseas I’m sure he was really loved by them too. One of us already’.

Rabbit thinks that Charlie is really lucky to join Peter’s family and that he is setting a great example by getting a rescue dog. We’re looking forward to seeing many more pics of Charlie Pug from Peter’s Twitter page soon.

Inspired by Coco

Friday, January 27th, 2012

Coco Chanel said ‘A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous’. If you recognise your dog in that description, then it would be cruel to deny her a dog coat from the Pixley collection. Inspired by Coco Channel and hand-crafted in softest pink herringbone tweed with contrast braid on the pockets, it has the unmistakeable simplicity and elegance of a classic couture jacket. You can see the entire Pixley collection here.

Ali Bastian and Molly

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012

Ali Bastian, star of Hollyoaks, The Bill & Strictly Come Dancing, is pictured here with her beautiful pooch, Molly. Ali was visiting Highgate’s dog and cat boutique Hair of the Dog, which offers grooming services as well as stocking LoveMyDog products.

Molly is wearing a Winkley Raincoat and an Amberley Liberty print lead.
